As an alternative to the Shannon assertion that English language crossword puzzles are impossible in more than 2-dimensions, Oshins has used semantic and syntactic ambiguities to develop 3-dimensional poetry by using overlays.
It can be read as ordinarily, i.e. row by row and left to right. It can also be read down the first column and then the second column!
